Potato nuggets

Ingredients:

  • 2 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated cheese (optional)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, breadcrumbs, grated cheese (if using), chopped onions, coriander leaves, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well to form a dough-like mixture.
  2. Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into a nugget or oval shape.
  3. Heat oil in a pan for frying.
  4. Once the oil is hot, gently place the shaped nuggets into the oil.
  5. Fry until golden brown and crispy on all sides, turning occasionally for even frying.
  6. Remove the nuggets using a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  7. Serve hot with ketchup or any dipping sauce of your choice.
